Goal: We want to learn if people understand the core concept quickly, whether they would use reusable checklist templates in everyday life, and what would make the app better than using normal notes, reminders or a paper list.

CheckMate is a simple checklist app for people who often forget small but important things before appointments, errands, meetings or everyday tasks. The idea is to make preparation easier without turning it into a complicated productivity system. Users can choose a checklist template, quickly customise it, and use it before they leave the house or start a task. Examples could include a doctor appointment checklist, school meeting checklist, travel packing checklist, grocery trip checklist, car service checklist, op shop donation checklist, or “leaving the house” checklist. The app is designed for everyday life, not business project management. It should feel fast, practical and low-pressure. The main promise is that users can feel more prepared in a few minutes. We want feedback on whether the concept is immediately clear, whether the name CheckMate fits the idea, and whether people would use this instead of notes, reminders or a normal to-do list. Please review the app idea, headline, suggested workflow and overall usefulness. We are especially interested in what kinds of checklists people would actually want, what would make them come back, and whether the app needs templates, reminders, sharing or recurring checklists to feel valuable.
