Next Chapter is a reading-list organiser prototype for people who save articles, books, newsletters, videos or long-form content but often forget what they saved or feel unsure what to read next. The app is designed to make a saved reading list feel useful instead of overwhelming. Users can add things they want to read, tag them by type or topic, and choose what to read based on the time they have available. For example, if someone only has 15 minutes, the app could suggest a short article or newsletter. If they have 45 minutes, it could suggest a book chapter, essay or longer saved piece. The goal is not to become another cluttered productivity app. The main value is helping people move from “I saved this for later” to actually reading, learning and remembering more of what they care about. This prototype focuses on the core workflow: saving content, seeing a simple reading queue, choosing something based on available time, and tracking light progress without adding pressure. We want feedback on whether the idea is clear, whether the workflow feels useful, and whether the app gives people enough reason to come back regularly. We are especially interested in whether the time-based reading suggestion feels helpful, or whether users would need stronger features such as reminders, categories, summaries, streaks, reading goals or integrations with browsers and newsletters. Please review the prototype as if you were deciding whether to join the beta. Tell us what feels useful, what feels missing, what might become annoying, and what would make this app part of your regular reading habit.
