WattWise Home is designed to help everyday households make smarter energy decisions without needing to be energy experts. Instead of overwhelming users with technical jargon, the website shows where home energy use may be coming from and helps people compare simple energy-saving actions such as taking shorter showers, switching to LED bulbs, adjusting thermostat settings or upgrading appliances. The goal is to make energy-saving choices feel practical and realistic. Users should be able to quickly understand which actions are easy to try, which may cost more upfront, and which are likely to have the biggest impact over time. This is an educational tool, not a promise of exact savings. We want the messaging and design to feel honest, helpful and trustworthy. We also want visitors to understand that the website is intended to guide better decisions, not exaggerate outcomes. We are looking for feedback on the clarity of the homepage, the strength of the message, whether the value of the tool is obvious, and whether the site feels credible enough for someone to explore further.
